This year the NFL celebrated its fiftieth super bowl. Bronco's quarterback Payton Manning won his second super bowl at age thirty-nine, before announcing his retirement just a few days ago. Rihanna, Bruno Mars, and Cold Play lit up an exciting half time show. It's all very exciting bits of American culture. But at FCC Tokyo, we believe it's more about the advertising.
As is the longstanding FCC tradition, we are very pleased this year to again welcome you to a fun and relaxing evening. It is an opportunity to view the Super Bowl 2016 ads, which were made specifically for this unique American event held just last month. Understood to be a focal point of advertising efforts and media spend in the annual calendar, expect to be amused by some adverts, annoyed by others, baffled by some, and generally entertained.
Please join us at the luxurious Bergamo cafe.
This year we've negotiated lower prices than normal. So, please invite friends of all ages and industries to enjoy conversation, analysis, cheers, and jeers of some of the most expensive artistic advertising available in the industry.
We'll encourage open discussion and look to club members and other professionals to take your time on stage to show your expertise or ideas as we analyze some of the ads from your perspective.
You will enjoy a large screen, great sound, plenty of food and refreshments, and good conversation before and after the ads. We look forward to seeing you there. Time permitting, we'll view the half time show for a breather in between the dozens of ads.
Reception opens 6:30pm; event 7:00 - 9:30; end by 10:00pm
Buffet-style Italian cuisine dinner (appetizers, main, pasta) plus all-you-can-drink (wine, beer, soft drinks)
