Sean Nichols is the Managing Director for Blippar Japan, the leading visual browser and fastest growing augmented reality player. As the Managing Director for Blippar Japan, Sean is responsible for the operations and commercial strategy for the region.

A marketing innovator and expert in the digital space, Sean provides solutions using bold ideas and fresh ways of navigating through today’s digital and mobile environments. He has worked works on a diverse array of businesses, including: Toyota, Sony PlayStation, Honda Powersports, Sony Pictures, Intuit, Ford, King’s Hawaiian, Dyson, Kia, P&G, and NHK.

Prior to Blippar, Sean was the USA Director for Hakuhodo (7th largest agency in the world), where he concentrated on introducing the digital and mobile technology created by the Hakuhodo Innovations Group. Before that he ran the digital business for the PlayStation account at Deutsch Los Angeles.

Sean has had a wide-ranging career in Japan that spanned more than 15 years. His agency career spanned being one of the first digital marketers hired at powerhouse Denstu, to successfully running his own boutique agency on both sides of the Pacific in Tokyo and LA.
